“Be somebody who makes everybody feel like somebody.” Not sure if this is an original quote or one heard years of go. Spending last week with pre-schoolers at vacation Bible school brought this thought to mind. It is so important that each of us make people around us feel special...even if it just a hello as we pass them on the street. Why don’t you make it a goal this week to go out of your way to touch a life.
Entertainment in the Park this week is JR Gonzales. He is a very talented one man band who does traditional county. You don’t want to miss him, 7 p.m. Thursday in Washington Park in Basin. Thanks State Farm/Tom Newman and The Overland for making this possible. July 30 will be Lori Thon and Jim Rannells. That will be our last one for the summer.
Thank you for your chamber renewal Ranch Soup GUEST HOUSE in Otto area. Great place for family reunions, business retreats and couple getaways. www.ranchsoup.com. No one I have ever sent there has been disappointed.
